Rock Island Farm is becoming Rock Island Rabbits!

The rabbits were born here on Rock Island Farm. The work grew here. And now, as our time on this land comes to a close, the bunnies are taking what they do best on the road.

For our final season in Virginia, Rock Island Rabbits are traveling the Commonwealth through Bracelets & Bunnies — a calm, optional pause built into places people already are.

Just a chance to sit down, hold a bunny, and take a break.

Some events are created with military families and caregivers in mind. Most are open to anyone who could use a quieter moment than the day originally planned.

Where We Began

Rock Island Farm has been home to this work — and to these rabbits — for years. This land is where we learned how to care well, how to slow down, and how much a small animal can change the shape of a hard day.

As our time here comes to a close, we’re carrying that learning forward. The numbers below reflect the scale of what’s been stewarded on this land, and the foundation that made Rock Island Rabbits possible.
