Healing with Holland Lops

Wounded, ill, and injured veteran families often face high levels of emotional stress and isolation due to the challenges of caregiving and recovery.

Through the Healing with Holland Lops program, we provide these families with a pair of Holland Lop bunnies, offering daily companionship and emotional support. The calming nature of these animals helps reduce anxiety, providing a source of comfort for both caregivers and veterans.

By integrating the bunnies into their lives, families experience reduced stress levels, an increased sense of emotional relief, and moments of joy amidst the difficulties of caregiving.

Military Family Getaways

Military families, especially those caring for wounded, ill, or injured veterans, often struggle to find time for self-care and emotional recovery. The constant demands of caregiving can lead to burnout and a feeling of isolation.

We offer multi-day getaways that provide a peaceful, supportive environment where these families can recharge. Activities like nature walks, animal interactions, and group meals allow families to connect with others who understand their struggles and to find respite from their responsibilities.

Families leave the farm feeling rested and emotionally supported, with strengthened connections to other veteran families. The getaway create a sense of community, offering tools and experiences that contribute to ongoing emotional well-being.

Military Spouse Connections

Military spouses, across all eras, often face unique challenges, including frequent relocations, disruptions to their personal lives, and the emotional toll of supporting their loved ones through military service. These challenges often result in feelings of isolation and a lack of supportive community.

We organize events such as coffee gatherings, farm-to-table dinners, and overnight getaways that bring military spouses together. These events provide an opportunity to build friendships, share experiences, and find support from others who understand the demands of military life.

These community-building events foster a sense of belonging and emotional support, helping military spouses strengthen personal connections and find encouragement in their shared experiences.
