Relax, Recharge, Restore 2023

Experience the tranquility of the James River and the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains at our Relax, Recharge, Restore camping weekend on Rock Island Farm in Scottsville, VA.

Dave and Betsy Eves invite you to a 4-day event specifically designed for caregivers of veterans and their families. Join us to take a break from daily stressors and spend quality time bonding with loved ones. Experience the tranquility of nature and the beauty of the countryside at our Relax, Recharge, Restore weekend on our family farm.

During the weekend, you will enjoy various activities such as hiking, fishing, a river float, and nightly bonfires while recharging your batteries and restoring your inner peace.

Please note that transportation to Rock Island Farm is not included. Gift cards will be provided to help offset fuel costs.  All necessary camping equipment, including tents, sleeping bags, etc., and equipment for any activities offered, will be provided by Rock Island Farm. Meals will also be included on the weekend.

This is an outdoor camping experience; all families will be sleeping in family-style tents provided by the farm. We provide sleeping bags for everyone, but for your comfort, we recommend bringing your comfort items, such as pillows and blankets.
